HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT
A leading floriculture enterprise in Kiambu County is looking for a dynamic HRA who is ready to be mentored to grow in their career in the industry, to Support the HR function and achieve its business strategy.
This position is responsible for HR support and administration functions within the organization.
Reporting to: Human Resources Manager
Closely working with: HRO’S and Clinical officers and Supervisors and all staff.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Promptly hard and soft filing all employee records ensuring zero loose documentation.
- Collecting and maintaining the employee records
- Monitoring the attendance, follow-up on sick offs and absenteeism and giving report
- Keeping and monitoring disciplinary register and records
- Checking on clearance on exits and annual leave
- Support on leave management
- Updating the system with all leaves and absenteeism
- Support in internal HR related inquiries and escalating to the relevant personnel for action
- Assist in Scheduling meeting, taking and filing minutes and following-up of action areas arising out of the HR related meetings.
- Drafting Correspondences letters, memos
- Relieve the Executive administrator
- Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time
Required Skills
- Good communicator
- Good grasp of English and Kiswahili languages
- Understanding of HR functions
- Good understanding of the Kenyan Labour Laws.
- Ability to engender team spirit.
- Effective people management skill
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
- 3 Years’ HR Experience in a busy organization
- IHRM Membership
