Solar Energy
Since 2016, Red Lands Roses has increased solar investments to 450 kW by 2025, powering 25-30% of operations like dam pumps and greenhouses.
Water Conservation
A 100% closed-loop irrigation system covers 45 hectares of hydroponic greenhouses, recycling water through UV treatment and nutrient recovery.
Biodiversity & IPM
Integrated Pest Management, companion planting, composting, and custom low-water buckets reduce chemicals and waste on the farm.
Eco-Friendly Packaging
In 2023, Red Lands Roses became Kenya’s first farm to fully eliminate plastic sleeves, using biodegradable paper sleeves and recyclable cartons.
