IPM – SPRAY SUPERVISOR
Spray Supervisor
A leading floriculture enterprise in Kiambu County is looking for a Spray Supervisor to strengthen its Integrated Pest Management function to enable the achievement of its business strategy.
She/he will be responsible for monitoring Sprays.
Reporting to: the IPM Manager and in his absence to the Production Manager and the Chief Agronomist
Major duties and responsibilities
- Efficient monitoring of spraying to control pests and diseases;
- Effective supervision of workers to carry out all duties assigned
- Effective supervision of cleaning and health and safety related requirements.
- Accurate recording on the notice boards for spray activities.
- Maintains accurate records for PPE inspection.
- Timely calibration and maintenance of spray equipment.
- Ensures continuous training and learning for his team
Special work environment
- Good knowledge and implementation of requirements of all local and international standards;
- Good knowledge and implementation of RLR Internal procedures and strategies for efficient work operations and for the protection of the people, property and company.

- Knowledge of pests and diseases
- Product knowledge and efficiency
- Crop knowledge
- Knowledge of beneficials
Job specification and other information related to the job
- Qualifications – Diploma in Horticulture, Bio-chemistry and related disciplines;
- – At least a minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
